Canadian provinces now have pathways to PR for international graduates
Many Canadian provinces now offer immigration pathways specifically for international graduates, making it easier for foreign nationals who have studied in the province to transition to permanent resident status.
Alberta
– Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: For international students graduating in Alberta who want to start or buy a business (minimum 34% ownership).
– Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream: For international students who graduated outside of Canada and want to establish a business in Alberta (minimum ownership of 34% or 51% depending on location).

Important Note:
– Most pathways require applicants to have graduated from a post-secondary institution in the respective province.
– These pathways are not linked to the federal Express Entry system.
– Applicants must demonstrate their intention to live permanently in the province and, in many cases, have sufficient funds to settle.
