Provincial Nominee Program
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is one of Canada's immigration programs that allows provinces and territories to nominate foreign workers with skills, work experience, and the ability to contribute to local economic development.
PNP participants have the opportunity to receive permanent resident (PR) cards and settle in Canada with their families through the Express Entry System and Provincial Nomination.
Workers research and choose a province or territory that matches their skills and experience.
Apply for nomination in your chosen province or territory. The process varies from province to province.
If approved, the worker receives a Letter of Nomination from the province.
Apply for permanent residence (PR) to the Canadian federal government with a Provincial Nomination Letter
The federal government reviews and processes PR applications.
If approved, the worker and his/her family will receive a PR card and can immigrate in Canada.
