Visa 482
Visa 482 is a temporary visa for skilled workers to come to Australia to work under the sponsorship of an Australian business for a period of 2-4 years.
Benefits
• Be able to live and work in Australia while the visa is valid
• Multiple entries to Australia during the validity of the visa
• If eligible, applicants may apply to become Permanent Residents.
• Can be accompanied by spouse and children under 18 years old.
• The total time the applicant can legally stay and work in Australia is 4 years. After 2 years of studying and training with the 407 visa, the applicant will be supported to find a job and apply for a 482 visa to legally work in Australia for another 2 years.
Requirements
• Male/Female, age 18-40
• High school graduated
• Basic English communication
• IELTS 5.0 and no skill below 4.5
• Must have relevant experience and qualifications with the specified profession (usually requires at least 2 years experience).
• Must have a clean record, no criminal record and meet security and health requirements.
• Visa applicants need to provide criminal record from countries where they have resided for more than 12 months within the past 10 years.
• Need to do physical examination at health facilities designated by the Australian Department of Home Affairs
